A space for socially conscious art in East London
Founded in 2022, our converted garage in Walthamstow provides emerging artists, as well as those with more experience of exhibiting, with a free space to showcase their work.
Our aim is to open up opportunities for people starting on their creative journey, and to bring socially conscious, thoughtful and thought-provoking art into our neighbourhood space. We've already featured solo artists and group projects by emerging and more established artists, and works by refugees and migrants, viewed by hundreds of art fans, collectors and supporters.

5 - 13 June 2025
In June we welcome Jodie Braddick to Garage. She has developed this show especially for us, featuring the work of four contemporary artists: Alex Ford, Dominic Watson, Freddie Bannister and Len Heiner.
The show is open for daytime visits from Thursday 5 - Sunday 8 June and by appointment only from Monday 9 - Friday 13 June. The Private View is on Friday 6 June.
