Garage Gallery E17

A space for socially conscious art in East London

Founded in 2022, our converted garage in Walthamstow provides emerging artists with a free space to showcase socially conscious, thoughtful and thought-provoking art.

Our aim is to open up opportunities for people starting on their creative journey. We want Garage to be an accessible venue platforming new art, and we've already featured solo artists, group projects and works by refugees and migrants, viewed by hundreds of art fans, collectors and supporters.

Our next show in 2024

Love Object
19- 22  September 2024

Exploring love and loss, presence and absence, Pippa Choy, Hannah Crosson, Ruth Goldsmith and Myrto Krikitou present interconnected works across different media. Featuring new and existing material from each artist, across ceramics, sculpture, illustration and writing, the exhibition has developed from the collective’s conversations centred around items of personal significance: their ‘love objects’.
